It took a while to say the words with confidence. "I am a writer".

It's not that I'm unaware that I always have been. I picked up a pen and wrote my first rhyme at age 13. Haven't stopped pen schemes to this very day.

Penning raps isn't writing novels however and I didn't get paid a whole lot while performing with my bros in "the foodchain".

My ex wife would gladly face palm her way to the front of "art is folly" line of critics. For the longest time I felt foolish in expressing my want to go deeper down the "anything you dont get paid for is a hobby" rabbit hole. So it feels like a right of passage conquered right about now; it feels like liberation to create without fear.

The worlds inside my head are vivid, the goings on within them very real to me. Details constantly adding definition to the landscaping; plots forever thickening.

I think that Im going to like it here... at home... amongst this collection of like minded day dreamers and story tellers.

Translation... This shit is tight and I'm amped.

By the way my name is Oren. Im from Denver and I'm a father, a first generation born American and a damn good author.

Cheers
