Part 3 -- (Final)
          
          I won't be naming the person I'm referring to directly but I'm sure this post will get back to them through those who have accepted the bootleg copies of my work. (This could have been a DM if Wattpad allowed it, and if I wasn't so angry). I'm hoping that they'll see what they're doing is wrong and wipe out any evidence of their little network before anyone reading this figures out who it is I'm referring to. I'm also hoping that the deleted works won't be circulated further, but I highly doubt it.  I know that nothing will come of this, and I'm the only one who will even care about this, but I really had to get this rant off my chest. I'm just truly upset, perhaps unjustifiably so, and feel a strong sense of violation at the thought of some random person being in possession of something I desperately wanted to be rid of. Not only that, but they are eager to spread it further too when it explicitly goes against my wishes. 
          
          Anyways, I was gearing myself up to get back into Wattpad, because I've missed all the amazing authors, and my amazing readers, but this has left a rather bitter taste in my mouth. Maybe I'll be back when I have cooled off, but for now I have truly had enough of the internet and this app.

          I don't know what you have told yourself to make you believe that this was an okay thing to do, but I think you know deep down that it's wrong. If you have to go about this secretly because you know I would be upset and disrespected, maybe that's a sign you shouldn't do it? At the end of the day, that's actually my intellectual property you're peddling, so perhaps I should be the one who has the final say in what's done with it! (Clearly an insane notion, and too much to ask for, I know!) 
          
          Also, can I just highlight how ridiculous it is that someone went to the effort of saving an entire subpar series of fanfiction written by a teenager, not just for personal use, but to share it with others? I honestly can't even fathom it. I'm not even flattered, I actually feel quite uneasy at the thought of someone being in possession of the writings that I was ashamed enough of to delete any trace of once I matured. Again, my fault for being naive when it comes to the internet!

Part 1 -- So... call me crazy, but passing along full versions of my *deleted* books on the internet is blatantly disrespectful and morally wrong. Right?
          
          I deleted the series in question for many reasons, reasons that weighed on me heavily for months. The person who is bootlegging my series, is someone who I told much earlier than my other readers that the series was to be deleted. I did this because I (mistakenly) thought that we were friends and I respected them enough to tell them personally because I knew that they would really miss the series. Unfortunately, the friendship and respect I had for this person were not at all reciprocated, which was clear in the immediate aftermath of the deleting of my series, but is beyond crystal clear to me now. My fault for making a friend on the internet I suppose! (This is a cautionary tale for the other authors, be careful of the ones who seem overly "sweet"!).
          
          On a personal level, I'm upset by the person who is doing this. If they had just saved the stories for their own personal use, I would be none the wiser, (obviously they did not have the manners to even ask me if it was okay to do so) but this is different. I am also upset with the potential people who have accepted my deleted works and not had the respect for me to inform me that this was going on (though, it was rather easy to spot for myself. Don't worry, nobody ousted you, I have suspected that this was going on for months). If you want to secretly share my works, maybe don't publicly make thickly veiled comments and announcements about it. If anyone is going to get your hints about the books, it's the author?  Just a quick tip for any future ventures!
