Let's clear something up:
Everyone has their own opinion about AI, and that's completely fine.
Yes, some of my book covers have been created using AI.
Does that mean they're all staying that way? No. Not all of them. I don't currently have editing software at home, so AI has helped me visualize some of my ideas and bring my imagination to life a little more clearly.
Am I using AI to improve my artwork? Absolutely NOT! I have no intention of letting AI replace my art or my creativity.
Am I experimenting with AI to see what I think of it? Yes. That's exactly what I'm doing. Some of these AI-generated covers won't be permanent. I still have all of the original covers that I created myself. Right now, I'm simply exploring different looks and seeing what works.
I've seen comments like, "This is AI," "So disappointing," and "Why?"
Those are your opinions, and I respect that. I just wanted to explain where I'm coming from. If you're disappointed, that's your right, but please understand that seeing AI on my page doesn't mean I've abandoned my creativity or fully switched to AI-generated work. I'm simply testing it out and seeing how I feel about it.
That said, I will remove comments that come across as rude on any of my books.
