          Killer walked through the forest with his knife. He heard singing and followed the sound below there he  found the Nymph Who lives in the starry willow He called to the nymph  as he listened
          From a ring of stars glowing "Come with me, Come from thy willow bed"
          he looked at him serenely and only shook his head and answered
          
          "See me now, a ray of light in the moon dance see me now, I cannot leave this place hear me now, a strain of song in air don't ask me, to follow where you lead"
          The nymphs brother and the guardians knew he served the darkness
          Killer walked through the forest with a flower and coat of blue his love had grown like a fire his eyes a starry glow
          he wrapped himself in beauty so young and so serene. He stood there under the willow
          And he gave him the red bloom
          "boy, my heart you've captured. Oh, I would be your groom"
          he said he'd see him here
          killer confused as he answered
          "See me now, a ray of light in the moon dance see me now, I cannot leave this place for they watch me hear me now, a strain of song in the air
          Don't ask me, to follow where you to there"
          Killer walked with an axe  walked through the forest
          With an axe sharp as a knife
          "I'll take the starry-eyed fairy
          And he shall be my wife
          With him I'll live my life"
          The nymph wept when she heard him
          When he said he'd set him free
          He took his axe and used it
          To bring down his ancient tree
          "Now your willow's fallen
          Now you belong to me"
