I have always been writing stories. When I was little (before I can remember actually) I had drawn and narrated these epic (4 pages long) medieval battles between the forces of good and evil.

In 7th grade I wrote my first short story, about a gnome on a grand adventure that involved holey holes (holes with more holes in them) and other equally ridiculous, yet amazing, creations my young mind had dreamed up. After that story's critical success-- and by that, I mean, all twelve of my classmates loved it (I grew up in a small Vermont town)-- I aspired to make writing my career. Towards that end, I studied Creative Writing at Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Lunarly is my first novel, a tale about three cities on the moon, each as corrupt as the next, and where the strong rule. The story is told from various perspectives that each give a unique look at the workings of the moon and its rather colorful inhabitants. I like to think of Lunarly as Frank Miller's Sin City set on the moon, with a dash of Douglas Adams's Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, with the changing perspectives similar to George R. R. Martin's Game of Thrones.
