My Dearest Love,

The moon hangs heavy tonight, a silver coin in the inky sky, much like the one I saw reflected in your eyes the night we met. It feels like an eternity ago, yet the memory of your laughter, is as vivid as if it were yesterday. Time, as you know, is a fickle thing for creatures like me. But my memories of you remain sharp, untouched by the relentless passage of centuries.

Before you, existence was a long, unbroken night. A tapestry woven with shadows and the faint echoes of lives lived and lost. I wandered through it, a solitary figure in a world that had long ceased to surprise me. Then, you arrived. A burst of sunlight in my perpetual twilight. Irhin you are  vibrant and warm.  

I know my nature is, different. I am a creature of the night, bound to the shadows. It is a burden I have carried for an age, a secret I have guarded jealously. Yet, with you, the weight of it feels lighter, almost bearable. You see past the monster I sometimes fear I am, and you see... me. 

Your presence is a constant marvel. The way your eyes crinkle at the corners when you smile, the soft curve of your neck, the very rhythm of your heart- these simple things hold more beauty for me than all the treasures the world has hoarded over millennia. I find myself longing to be near you, to hear your voice, to feel the warmth of your hand in mine, even though I know my touch is cold. 

I know this love is complicated. A vampire's love is a dangerous thing, a paradox of darkness drawn to light. But I swear to you, Irhin, I would never willingly cause you harm. My love for you is a fierce, protective thing, a burning ember in the heart of a creature of ice. I offer you no promises of forever, for my forever is a vastly different thing than yours. But I offer you my heart, such as it is, a heart that beats only for you, if we can call that a beating heart.
