As a former news reporter and diehard romantic, I like to tell tales of mystery and love set in the beautifully rugged country known as West Texas -- my home. 

I received the Reader's Favorite Gold Medal Award for True Crime Non-Fiction 2022 for co-writing "The Evil I Have Seen" with friend and colleague Det. Lt. Robert (Robbo) Davidson, ret. Louisiana Sheriff's Deputy -- a compilation of his case stories that I had the privilege of helping him tell.
