"A woman can do all that you've ever done and more. Every single day of my entire life I've trained and trained and trained to be where I am now. And every male guard that I met in that castle didn't have to do a third of what I did to get here. Women have to prove themselves far more than men, because society favors the male species. Do you know how many other women were in that castle to fight?" I paused. "None. You came here nearly 1,300 years ago, fought in one war and was crowned king. Do you know how many battles I've been in to protect him? How many people I've nearly killed to protect him? How many injuries, I've gotten, to protect him? You and me are very, very different. You are the protected. I am the protector." I pull out my sword. "You were a weak opponent the first time around, and I let you live. I promise you that if you cross me again, I will not be so kind." And with that, I walk out of the room.
