I grew up with a passion for reading and escaping into the worlds of the pages. I always had a creative side one way or another; drawing, building, whatever. But I didn't start writing fiction until February of 2013. I didn't really set out to do so. It kind of just happened. My first book- Wayward Prey - I self-published in November. It's about a teenage farm kid in post-apocalyptic society. His parents are murdered by a band of militants and he himself is being chased by them through the deserts of northern Nevada- an area I am rather familiar with, being a farm kid myself.
