          The second half of my story is set at Holy  Cross  Mission  where  I  served  as  a  Peace  Corps  teacher  in  the  remote  village  of  Bolahun ,  Liberia.
          
          My experiences  in  Africa  are  woven  into  the  narrative  and  real people  inspired  many of my characters.
