it was a friday afternoon, about, 4:30ish. she'd just gotten off of work from queen industries. she had decided to pick up some food for her and sam, since their mom wouldn't be home til later, and their dad was out of town. she'd decided to pick up some panda express & starbucks. since their wasn't enough food at home and ramen everyday wasn't exactly a healthy choice... after a bit she arrived to the shittier part of starling city. a medium off white bag over her shoulder and under her arm, with the food inside and the drinks on either pocket on the sides. she walked to the apartment building, buzzing herself in, and walking up the stairs all the way to the fourth floor. and unlocking the door to her family's apartment, “ sam im home! ” she called out, letting the door close behind her and placed down the bag filled with food on the floor, taking off her / iconic / trench coat and hanging it up. “ seo joon? ” she called out, not hearing anything the first time.
