@akira_allen_0613 Thank you so much! I just saw your comments on mousetrap! I really appreciate the support. I've been sick for weeks and dealing with a lot of RL things, but I wrote and posted a chapter just yesterday (I'm editing part 2 right now and updated "Death Wish" to a Hisoka's POV for the beginning of the Zanko fight. I'm really hoping to get the next chapter out shortly. It's half plotted I'm just tweaking some of the dialogue :) Thank you again for your support.

I've been editing part 2 when I can. Since losing my cat, I've just been coming down with lots of illness. Hopefully, I can recover soon and get started on new updates.

Sorry for the silence. It was my birthday on the 31st, but I had to say goodbye to my cat Leo a few days before, and I've been an absolute mess. It's going to take me a while to recover and be able to write again. Please be patient with me. My pets are my family; I've had Leo for almost 13 years. It was the hardest put-to-sleep I've done in a long time. As always, I appreciate everyone's support.

@Hunter_X_Berry Thank you for reaching out and for your kind comment. I had planned to release a new chapter this week. I'm on vacation so hopefully I can recover and be creative soon. The next chapter is emotional and bonding so I need ot be in the right headspace to do the couple justice.

I have officially finished the updates on part 1! Any previous readers, please feel free to read part 1 through again as many new parts have been added, some removed, and I've switched the point of view on several chapters. If you've read it before, you'll have the unique perspective of getting to see some scenes from both points of view.
But as always, thank you so much for sticking with me as I went through the edits. I appreciate the support of each and every one of you ❤️
But in other sad news, I've severely hurt my arm and am waiting for an ultrasound. I'm not sure if it's a muscle or tendon tear :( As such, new updates might be delayed slightly, but I'm going to try and get a new side chapter for Hisoka's birthday out to you. It will just depend on my health.

I noticed a significant uptick in people adding The Wild Card's Queen to their reading list. I just wanted to thank everyone who has done so and taken the time to read it. I'm almost done with part 1 edits (1.5 chapters left and a few little tweaks here and there). Thank you for waiting for me and standing by me. Life has been rough lately, and I'm doing my best to be okay and keep doing what I love (writing and hanging out with my dog).
