@velvet-reverie I've read through a few stories. I just like a realistic story or close to it. That's good to know. I wouldn't have thought it would be more active in the F1 community! 
            
            I think that's my problem. I love a build-up with some moments, but not a lot, more of the background and plot, so I don't know if it becomes a bit boring :( 
            I might have to take you up on that offer I have read back through, and I'm not super happy. I think I'll have to revisit and change a lot. I'm never happy, though. 
            
            That's one of a good few stories that have been left to rot at chapter 20

@P_Pickle you're gonna love being an author in the F1 fic community. I feel like it's a lot more active than UK youtube, and good stories catch on fast.
            
            I live and die by the slow burn, so if you've got enough cute interactions, will they/won't they moments, and pining thrown in with an engaging plot then you may be able to swing it. Lmk if you want someone to beta read what you have and help with plot ideas! 30 chaps is too much to throw out imo, at least scrap it for parts and use it somewhere else if you decide to start anew.             I’m really into F1 at the moment. I actually started writing one - I’m about 30 chapters into this slow-burn, friends-to-lovers thing, and I haven’t hit a single bit of romance yet. Now I’m wondering if it’s just too much, you know? I doubt myself way too much, and honestly, I didn’t even know where I wanted it to go. I just started writing the beginning without thinking about the end goal .
            
            Now I’m kind of in a rut with it - I was fully committed and then just… fell off. There are way too many things I start that end up like this .
