Here's a snippet of Chapter 22 (High School AU)! Startin' off strong with Fives' P.O.V.
1:23 PM- Fives’ P.O.V.
“What took you so lon-”
Fives stopped in his tracks as he looked more closely at the scene before him.
Anakin was laughing, and it wasn’t like a laugh Fives would prompt when he made a stupid, but somehow funny joke. No, this laugh was an expression of pure elation.
Fives didn’t even need eyes to know what, or more precisely, who, was the trigger for that laugh.
Fives took another moment to study the pair and let them enjoy each other’s company, noticing their massive smiles, their tousled hair, and the way they were locking eyes.
Oh, they had definitely been making out.
Fives cleared his throat. It was time to get down to business, as much as he wanted to tease Anakin.
“I see you brought a friend. Padmé, right?”
The two spun around, their joyous expressions melting into serious ones.
“Yes, I’m Padmé. You’re Fives, aren’t you?”
“The one and only.”
Might change this slightly when I edit the chapter but this is the jist of it!
Hopefully, HOPEFULLY, I'll post a chapter before the 28th of Jan, which is when I go back to school. After that, there's probably not going to be any updates until December. Tehehe.
