In short, I'm a sarcastic, very atheistic man from Czech Republic with a strong interest in black and British humor, who accidentally encountered Wattpad in the evening wandering the internet. I thought it might be interesting, so I went into it. And if I ignore the fact that quality stories are neglected at the expense of nonsensical stupidity, my expectations have been met to some extent.

I like to read fantasy, sci-fi and quite like horrors and classical literature; specifically, I directly eat dark fantasy, antiutopia, post-apocalyptic and decadent or classical literary works. My favorite authors include George R. R. Martin, Andrzej Sapkowski, Dmitry Glukhovsky, H. P. Lovecraft, Edgar A. Poe, Karel Čapek, George Orwell and finally such a Bram Stoker, Oscar Wilde or Jack Kerouac. Philip Pullman deserves place there too for his courage to stand up against Christianity and "promote" atheism. As a opus magnum I consider a father of all modern fantasy, sir John R. R. Tolkien.

I'm not exactly a great follower of Young Adult Literature, I find it too simple, uncomplexed and straightforward. I sincerely always shake my head when teenagers tell me how Maze Runner, Hunger Games or Divergent are great, amazing and perhaps the best books ever...

My eternal pessimism also unfolds in books where I prefer bad, tragic, bittersweet, or negatively open ends (in other words, realistic ends). I believe that happy endings belongs to children's fairy tales, although they are often not too much extent harmful. The big plus for me have that authors who aren't afraid to criticize our society, doesn't follow social standards or can stand against the Church and many religions...

I write short stories, but only on my Czech account in my native language. I use this account only to read stories in English.

I take the view that we are becoming more lettered with every book we read.
