Hello everyone, this is PangoroGrunt. I'm messaging you all to ask how you feel about the 2nd chapter of Dungeon Crawler RWBY? I know I included a Petrosapien as a Game Guide, and I can't help but wonder if maybe that was the wrong call and I should have used Mordecai (who was Carl's Game Guide) instead. I wanted to make it more original and separate from the books, so it's not a complete copy and paste thing. But at the same time, I'm having doubts on if I should make it more like the books.
So, basically, the Borant Corporation was supposed to go to Earth, but instead, they stop at Remnant because "hey, this world's already looking broken and chaotic, so let's go ahead and start collecting this planet's elements instead.". I can easily make the change, but I really like what I have for Xandrite. Especially since he's actually a Weapon's Master, which will be explained further in the third chapter.
But let me know what you all think.
@PangoroGrunt to be honest, I like the more original idea, I know my story has a lot of elements from the source material, so as a word of the wise, use more creative look as it allows you to flesh out you original character more.

Hello everyone, I know I have been on a slog when it comes to uploading my chapters. I figured it's time I did something about it.
The next chapter for Giant's Little Rose is half finished. But recently, I've been inspired to create a new RWBY story based on one of my favorite audiobooks. This isn't a crossover fanfiction, not exactly. And I might just do one book of this, but that remains to be seen.
It's based on Dungeon Crawler Carl, an absolutely amazing audiobook series that I definitely recommend listening to. Only this time, it's going to be based on the RWBY characters and takes place before the Fall of Beacon.
All of it will be original, and some may even go through certain changes. Permanent changes, but when it comes to the total and complete invasion of Remnant, will such things truly matter in the end?

I wasn't originally going to comment on this or bring mention to it, but with the world being full of idiots as per usual, I feel it necessary to speak about it.
As of 2 days ago, Charlie Kirk had been assassinated at the University of Utah campus. The assassin is still at large, but he won't be for very long. And yet, a bunch of ignoramus, imbecilic, ignorant, idiots decided to celebrate his death. Most had been fired from their jobs and one had even got ganged up on by nearly a hundred people. My opinion is those were entirely deserved for making such abominable comments.
Why am I bringing this up? To put it bluntly, death is not something I would wish on anyone who never deserved it. Of course, I have my own exceptions to this belief who I feel deserve death, such as rapists, serial killers, sexual predators, treasonous people, and those who think killing people for fun is acceptable.
Charlie Kirk, Donald Trump, Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, not even Vladimir Putin or Xi Xinping deserve to be killed. The last two are because of a lesson my father told me when I brought up the idea of them being killed off. He told me while they are corrupt and evil people, they are the only ones keeping anyone from their own party who is potentially worse from taking control. That was a terrifying thought to me, and I understood then.
Whatever your opinions are on either side, let me make this extremely clear: if you ever wish death on someone because they have a differing opinion than yours, then you're as every bit the definition of the petty, fragile little coward you make yourself out to be.
@Bull_Moosevelt also fun fact: US knife crimes are higher than the uk, but the amount of gun crimes make knife crimes look like nothing by comparison.
@SimonVPC Wrong, and @Bull_Moosevelt explained it pretty well. I get playing Devil's advocate and sometimes I encourage it so all points can get across, but don't go out of your way to say such disgusting nonsense like that. Speaking of Devil's advocate, I acknowledge that you understand the main point of my post and didn't make this comment with malicious intent. I will offer some advice; to play Devil's advocate is to play both sides. You take information and views from both sides of an argument and use it to form your own point. Please remember this next time too avoid putting yourself in a corner.
@PangoroGrunt yes, I 100% agree death should not be celebrated. But allow me to play devils advocate for a second here: That speech he was giving before he died was about how school sh**tings were a necessary sacrifice to keep the 3rd amendment. This man then went on to blame trans people for said school incidents, then when people asked for statistics proceeded to dodge the question and bring up gang violence. So, to summarize: This man said that it's okay for some people- hundreds children included- to die to guns so the rest of America could hold onto their guns. Following HIS OWN LOGIC that means it's perfectly fine for him to be taken out, since they need to lose a few people so the rest can keep their guns. Death shouldn't be celebrated, but when the death of someone who was trying to excuse mass child murder dies, personally, I don't think we should expect him to be heading anywhere but down.
