You can't just tell me I'm unimportant. I already know. But The Doctor is helping me see that even the most unimportant people can do something big. And Sherlock has taught me that being important just makes you normal and normal people are boring, dense, and stupid. You can give me lectures on how I'm just a silly little human that will never be big. And, of course, I'm already aware of that.
I make up for my smallness by using big words that make people uncomfortable and listen to music that makes me ponder the inevitability of how I and all my associates will amount to nothing in the end. My music taste has no consistencies in genre, but I assure you, it's some form of something that someone at some point has considered demonic.
