Okay so I haven’t really involved myself nor have I wanted too with the Harry Potter fandom cause yk fuck jkr (just to be clear tho I have no problem with y’all most of you are pretty chill) but OMG I JUST DISCOVERED THE MARAUDERS FANDOM AND ITS THE BEST THING EVER!!! So there’s a lot of lore about how the fandom like came to exist in the first place that I find really cool and may go on a rant about at a later date but literally the entire marauders fandom is one of the gayest fandoms out there and I’m here for it. This has high key become my newest hyperfixation as in I haven’t thought about anything else for WEEKS at this point so yeah. But the main thing is it brings me so much joy to think of how jkr must feel that one of if not the most popular ship amongst her fandom is a queer one

Finally finished my summer assignment!!!

Okay hi so quick life update that no one asked for but idk just wanted to say it. So it’s been kinda rough lately, had a really bad spout of homophobia a bit back and it’s kinda been ongoing which has just been a lot. Not to mention having a lot of responsibilities over summer that’s just not going well with my adhd ass lol. Plus my parents are being weird abt said adhd again and yeah it’s just been kinda a lot. So sorry I haven’t been on here as much, I’ll try to get back soon but yah that’s my update

AO3’s down and idk what to do with myself

Okay so I finished the Solangelo book and it was so fricking good and I need to talk abt it but can’t so imma go on a quick rant here. The handling of childhood trauma. It was gold. Beautiful. Wonderfully done. Like seriously the way they handled Nico dealing with his inner demons and learning how to move on with his life was just GORGEOUS. Also in what I believe is the second to last chapter where (slight spoilers ahead) Nico has his chat with Piper and they basically discuss that labels within the lgbtq+ community aren’t necessary- ITS JUST AMAZING!!! Like this is something that I need and have needed to hear and just with a lot of things within this book really like healed my inner child in a way and the fact that this book is written and marketed specifically towards kids is amazing too me. Like maybe I’m being dramatic and maybe I’m being crazy but with the amount of stuff happening to the lgbtq+ community lately I really needed this and just knowing that there’s some little scared kid out there who could have this as a resource is honestly just idk it just makes me really happy. So yeah that’s my rant ik it’s long and a little sappy but hey I haven’t ranted here in a while I’m allowed that

Heyyyy so this is just a friendly little reminder that I needed so some people might need too that you’re opinion matters and you have a voice no matter your age, race, sexuality, gender, etc. so don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. And if you need to talk but no one wants to listen you always got an Alex in your corner. I may not be much but I got two working ears and I’m pretty good at using them :)
