(Oh hey, look. This NERD's posting after nearly 6 months! How dare I!)
          
          Hello yet again. I am going to talk, as tomorrow, is, my Birthday. Or Birthing Day.
          Whichever you prefer :)
          
          I have been doing well. Composing a bit, exercising... gamedev-ing.. the works.
          
          I've got the basis of stuff down. What I generally need to do, to do the things I want.
          Just working on becoming consistent.
          
          Welp, since tomorrow is my birthday, let's see what I have got done:
          -Learnt a LOT of gamedev principles, like optimization, bugfixing (omg I've fixed 200+ bugs minimum), and what making fun gameplay is.
          -Learnt the basics of animation, have become pretty adept at it. Nothing great or astoundingly crazy, BUT, sufficient.
          -Learnt composing. Took a bit finding a DAW that worked, but unfortunately there are pretty much no good ones. So instead, I used a free solution: a website named BeepBox (I love it, recommend. Just turn on the visible piano keys!)
          -How to be somewhat persistent. I slack off some days, but even on those I still generally manage to at least do 1-3 things a day to improve the game I'm working on.
          -Gotten a basic schedule down. It's hard, especially given that I have limited freetime most days, but it's working.
          -Oh yeah! Also slightly beginning work on more basic projects alongside my main one, to hopefully help build gamedev skills faster!
          
          I feel like I'm steadily piecing myself together as a person, and it is a wonderful feeling.
          
          I know not many people are gonna see this post (except for maybe 1 or 2;) but I thought it'd be worth saying for anyone who checked.
          Plus, gives me a thing to look back on in the future. I get to say "Oh hey, look at this post I made when I was [AGE]!"
          
          These last few months have been probably the top months of my life. Has it been entirely positive? Nope. But there's a consistent feeling I have, like excitement, or joy. Joy to be pursuing my goals. Even as distant as they feel sometimes.

Hello, happy new year everyone.
          
          So, my year's been all over the place- high highs (beginning to making the FPE OC book, learning how to make a platformer and 2d rpg with deltatime ensuring it runs the same across framerates), and low lows (horribly bad days, frustation feeling like I was not taking advantage of my time while taking a hiatus from the book)
          
          Overall; pretty above average year for me. A lot of family issues were fixed, I've learnt a good chunk about the basis for 2d gamedev, and even have a very, very early concept for a game I'm working on.
          
          Life is pretty weird, it just goes wherever it wants to.
          
          So.. new years resolution is the same as my friends'. Do better. Be better.
          Since that's about all you can do and hope for.
          
          Before I began writing the book, as I've said before: I was even lazier than I am now. Going in a loop of low mental health, insomnia, and unresolved family problems, never having the energy or real desire to do much but just stay alone and do nothing with myself.
          
          Then, the book actually gave me a reason to get up. To do things. To use my time better. I felt proud of myself, and proudness is a feeling pretty alien to me. It's a wonderful one, but odd.
          
          The reason I'm taking a break for so long is because I can't be on Wattpad forever. Someday I'll have to work.
          
          So the reason I'm spending so much time learning gamedev and music is so I can make games. And have a passive income. I know that sounds money-hungry, but that's a great life to me. To just sit in my room and make good games, and have enough money to live comfortably.
          
          And I get that's a lot, but... I just want to prepare. It's a tough world, as people say, so it's better to get a headstart, I've realized.
          
          Anyway I'm reaching the character limit. Just wanted to update you all.

          I'm doing pretty good.
          
          So, I admit I am running out of ideas for my FPE OC book 'Mr.Pen'.
          After Pt.22, I need to make 8 more chapters.
          
          Pt.25 and 2-3 chapters after that I *do* have a vague idea of, but, you probably know what I'm gonna ask.
          
          What are your ideas? (even if you think it's a bad one, or a goofy one, lemme know anyways please)
          
          (By the way I'm sorry for not being here much, trying to learn a LOT of stuff other than writing on Wattpad.) (Piano, code, drawing tablet, animating books)

In summary: YT is gonna have AI predict what age you are based on what you watch, for anyone under 18 personalized ads are disabled, and the videos they show you are restricted. Turning off personalized ads majorly harms youtubers. Also, if you're under 18 by the ai 'mistakenly', then you can just show off your id or credit card to verify your age.)
          
          I thought I'd be a youtuber, but fuck no. What the shit..
          This is legitimately the scummiest bullshit I've ever seen. AND I THOUGHT THE AI STUFF WAS BAD!!
          
          It's such a stupid thing, to change what's already working, and make changes NOBODY ASKED FOR.
          And it's to 'improve youtube', meanwhile it harms over hundreds of thousands of channels.
          
          And that's not to mention the shady stuff with the id thing, giving a private company your data, hmmmm..? Yes, let's give YT all our credit card information, and be SHOCKED when that data is inevitably breached.
          Never go on youtube. Never again.
          
          
          
          Phew, calmed down a bit.
          So, I am NEVER making a YT channel, even if they go back on this.
          
          Also: Use the Brave browser. (This isn't sponsored.)
          It blocks trackers and ads, (including on YT), I use it on all my devices :)
          (Oh yeah, and uses less memory, if you care about that. I really wanted to address the stupid YT bullshit and mention my favorite browser.)
          
          I'm never touching YT again. If I do make any videos, it'll be on my own website.
          
          Lighter news: Pt.22 is going well. Slow, but well.

Welp-o, oh how I woe.
          Ignore the stupid rhyme, this is me updating after a little over a month:
          -Working on Pixel Art again, am reading animation books, all that, yadayada.
          -Pt.22 is being a bit of a slog, but it's coming together. I think generally after Pt.24, I have it *mostly* sorted out.
          -Working on other stuff too, but you knew that. ;)
          
          Anywho, I've been enjoying life a bit more and am trying to make a place in the world. :P
          The drawing tablet's been pretty nice, all things considered,  and I've been spending some time trying to learn how to optimize things like storage size, and memory usage, cpu usage, all that boring computer crap. Gotta learn the basics! (heh)
          
          I don't think I'm anywhere NEAR the level of a game developer to make a full, amazing game loop game, but I'll get there.
          
          As weird and as crazy as this month has been for me, I'm glad. Glad for everything.
          
          Anyways, I've also gotten some bad eye strain and stuff, from using screens, so please, if you're doing that, try this:
          20-20-20 rule. Essentially, look away from your screen every 20 minutes, for 20 seconds, at something 20 feet away.
          
          Was this a long-winded explanation? Yes, it absolutely was, no kidding obviously.

          I read a bit into it, you might wanna contact Wattpad Support through the account's gmail, so you can get it back.
          
          
          
          I'm gonna be rewriting an exact private copy of all their oc books just in case CozyBunn loses access to the account, and so they can re-write it in the worst case scenario, and not lose MONTHS of progress.
