As I am not black, nor have Tourette's, I won't be talking about the situation fully. Enough white people have said enough, go listen to the black disabled community.

I just want to say, the ableism jumped out *so fast.* Like lightning speed. It's not shocking. Considering back in 2020, people were saying that Tourette's wasn't real and anyone who was saying they have Tourette's, were looking for attention.

But saying that someone with Tourette's should stay home, cut out their tongue (yes, that is real, somebody said that on TikTok), sew their mouths shut, or wear a muzzle... oh, you are ableist as fuck. Those things are not okay to say in any situation. And stop making fun of the Tourette's community. That is doing so much more harm.

My keyboard has arrived! Yay! I can get back to writing, thank God! And March can't come soon enough either... I really hope that what February showed me has no indication of how the rest of my year is gonna go...

I will be taking March off to catch up. I really need to catch up on writing, I feel so far behind.

Soonchu

@PaperrStarrs omg really? I'm so glad things are going fine on your end now

Will be looking forward to the future stuff you write tho ✨

It’s like the universe is laughing at me. Guess who’s keyboard is destroyed?

          *Mine.*

So just ordered a new one… and it won’t be here until Thursday. ‘Cause why not, right?

I only was able to get Another Level and Camp Hell done… yeah, that March break is definitely happening now. All because my cats were assholes and spilled my ENTIRE cup of tea this morning. FUN!

Soonchu

@PaperrStarrs that'd be such a valid crash out tho

@Soonchu I am happy that it was just my keyboard and nothing else, because… if it was anything else, I would have committed murder at this point. Now, I would have been fine with my arrow keys not working, but it’s the space bar that’s DOA.

            Kinda need that.

@PaperrStarrs you gotta be kidding! It's giving me ptsd from that whole computer catastrophe back then

Hope the rest of your week gets better than this tho

I'm sure many of you have seen those TikToks or have Twitter and have seen the tweets of the angry mothers taking their kids to a Kpop event and being mad that it's not K-Pop Demon Hunters... I just wanna say... they're idiots. Just idiots.

And can I say, this is one of the reasons why I still haven't seen the film. I have no desire to watch, I don't care for the art style. I have heard the song Golden more times than I would like, and honestly, not the best song.

But back to the idiocy. I saw a screenshot because this issue hasn't come across my FYP on TikTok (yet) of a mom saying she didn't know that Kpop was a music genre, she just thought it was the name of the group. *palm to forehead* I'm just... baffled. These people didn't do any ounce of research? I would have been researching that shit if I didn't know much about the genre (or even movie) to make sure it was age appropriate. 'Cause Kpop isn't, a good chunk of it anyway.

Don't even get me started on the insanity I've been hearing from the XLOV fandom about little kids going to their concert a bit ago.

I want to blame KPDH, but it's the parents' fault not paying attention to what their kids are interacting with. Like if/when I become a parent, I'm researching that shit. I'm researching everything my kid gets into regardless of the subject. Video game you've seen on YouTube, I'll vet it. A popular tv show is airing? We'll watch it together.

And most of the parents are millennials/early Gen Z, my fucking age range! What happened to being more involved with your kid's shit? What happened to not being like our parents and being checked out of your kids lives?

I'm just waiting for one of these parents to go "I can't understand this Kpop shit. I want "real" Kpop!" AKA KPDH. It will happen.

I hate to say this but I'm tired. I know it's just my depression talking and once the weather starts heating up, I'll be better mentally, but God, I'm tired right now. My writing is suffering due to this tireless.

I'm debating if I take March off just to recharge and regroup. I know many of you will say that my mental health is more important, take the time off, we'll wait 'cause you guys are amazing like that.

Just giving a heads up if that happens. (Most likely.)
