Okay... this is more of a roast than a complaint about ICE, but what imbecile posts PROOF of murdering a woman online? The ICE agent who murdered Renee Good, Jonathan Ross (in case you were wondering), posted the video he personally took. On his phone. 
          
          Like THAT was gonna help his case?!?! What the fuck! It just makes him more guilty. And moronic. 
          
          I'm pretty sure we're living in a simulation. Maybe 2012 did take us out and we're just living life in a computer, because what the ACTUAL fuck. Before someone says "it could be AI," I don't think that man knows how to use AI. He doesn't seem like the brightest bulb.

I want to make this *abundantly* clear, and yes, I am aware a lot of my following isn't from the United States but this still stands:
          
          If you support Trump, unfollow me. 
          If you support ICE, unfollow me. 
          If you support ANYTHING that's going on right now in the US or around the world, fuck you.

Okay, I'm about to get political again. I would say ignore, but at this point, how about you actual read what I have to say. 
          
          I've been seeing so many people on TikTok from European countries, from Australia, even Canada at this point, who are asking why the US isn't doing anything to stop the Orange Bastard. News flash: WE HAVE BEEN! We been trying to do shit since before he was elected. He should have been impeached back during his first term. 
          
          The vast majority didn't want this. We have other things to worry about within our own country (yes, I'm talking about the Australia saying our domestic issues shouldn't be our priority). I'm sorry, but a woman was killed by ICE yesterday. Shot in the face four times. White woman. ICE just decided to shoot her and don't fucking bring your insanity of "she hit him first." Fuck off. She didn't.
          
          We have ICE taking random people off the street. We have ICE kidnapping children from schools because they have a slight color to their face. You don't think we know that the Orange Bastard is a bastard? We know this. We are trying. 
          
          Why do you think we have people praying for the Orange Bastard to be buried six feet under soon? Not that Mr. Eyeliner AKA Mr. Erika Kirk is any better. But our Congress won't do shit - our Dems are too fucking scared, which is concerning. This man should have been impeached and never allowed to be on another ballot. 
          
          We are trying, but guess what, nothing working. Which is also extremely concerning that no one in this administration is taking the concerns of Americans seriously. We are just as concerned as you. We're scared, we want everyone a part of the Orange Bastard's team to be gone. We want this to end just as much as you everyone else in the world.
          
          We KNOW that we're the problem. We KNOW that the Orange Bastard is a horrible person. Again, majority of us didn't vote for this. I voted for Kamala because I knew what was to come.

          Welcome back, my dear readers! And for those who have been for a while, January is my birth month. You’ll be getting one the week of my birthday as a present to you guys! Those who were here last year know what is happening – the first daily posting spree of the year! And I can say, all my chapters are written. It feels really good to say those words at the start of the year. Let’s hope this year is as good as I hope it will be.  
          
          I hope everyone enjoyed my break. I do hope you enjoyed my surprise on Christmas day.  
          
          “Elyse, where’s Deja Vu?” I wrote all of Deja Vu and... it will be ending this month, so you’ll have to wait until the week I plan on doing my posting spree. But hey! Seven chapters in a row! I’m surprised just as much as you are with that news too. I thought I had a lot more chapters to write, but with the way I decided to do S3, it was a lot shorter than I originally thought. Oops.  

As I officially come back tomorrow, I thought I’d go over a few changes to bonus chapters this year – I've been the same bonus chapters for the last three years, it’s time for a chance. And... limit how many bonus chapters you’ll get with each story. 
          
          The reads haven’t really changed, but just a reminder: 10k, 25k, 50k, 100k, 150k, 200k, 300k, and so on. Now I doubt I’ll get 300k this year, 200k most likely (as Dreamin’ is getting close to that number), but that’s just a placeholder until I hit 300k. After that, I’ll figure out more milestones.  
          
          The votes got the bigger change: 500, 1k, 2k, 3k, 4k, 5k, 10k. I got rid of the 500 for each of them and made a big jump from 5k to 10k. I just felt like I needed to limit bonus chapters.  
          
          Plus, with some of my older stories, it is time to get rid of the concept of gaining bonus chapters every time they hit a milestone. It was good in the beginning, but I have one too many stories in specific fandoms now. Unless it’s 50k, 100k reads or 1k, 5k votes, the other books will have to wait for their own milestones.  
          
          One last thing: bonus chapters will be given out during the first week of the next month. There are no bonus chapters for this month because... I wasn't keeping track. Oops. Look, something had to give during December, and keeping track of bonus chapters had to be it.

I made a TikTok yesterday complaining about how some kdrama fans are really out here asking if a drama is worth it when episode 1 has just aired. And this is a weekly drama, not one that all the episodes have been released, mind you. I swear some kdrama (or tv shows in general) fan can't sit and wait for episodes anymore. They need that instantaneous, bingeable content. 
          
          Some guy commented on it, saying that kdramas aren't worth it, and I should watch anime instead. Who wants to bet this guy's one and only kdrama experience was Squid Games? 'Cause kdramas are far more than just Squid Games and even Parasite. But I doubt this guy has seen Parasite, so S1 of Squid Games it is! 
          
          I think the sarcastic bitch is about to come out. 3 days into the New Year, new record.

As per usual, on New Year's Day, I let my playlist pick the song that will be the Song of the Year for me. ...I don't know what this one tells me about my future year, but here it is:

Okay, I don't know if you guys have seen the TikTok of the guy complaining about how someone properly corrected him about his tags on AO3. Dude, I want to punch him. It's fine if you don't understand how AO3 works, but the way he's been doubling down and his tone alone, bitch please. Why the fuck would you get "scared" about the tags being wrong? The person was informing you about it and you block and delete the comment? Seriously? That's immature.
          
          The tagging system of AO3 is elite for a reason. So, yes, it is run like the military. You wanna know why? 'Cause some things people just don't want to read! Whether it's a DD:DE (dead dove: don't eat), or just something that's triggering to them. OR just something they don't want to read like RPF. The tags are there for a reason - so saying "it's not that serious" is bullshit. It is serious. I don't want to go into a fic, only to find out there's watersports and scat when it is in't tagged. 
          
          It's the doubling down for me because "oh, when I'm famous" isn't something I expect to hear from a WattPad MAN going to AO3. I use AO3, but with the way this year has been, I deleted all my fics off of it. Before I wrote on AO3, I LEARNED how to use it. 
          
          Stick to WP if you aren't going to be respectful to the people over on AO3. I need to find this dickhead's account on here so I can block it. I don't want want to read a single thing he's written if he's acting like he's a god amongst fanfic writers.

I hope you guys have been enjoying this break from me. I can’t believe we are only three days away from the new year. It feels insnae. But let’s talk about something: every year, I do goals that I don’t talk about. And let’s just say, I hit all, but one goal this year. But I have a feeling that goal will happen at the start of the year. Here were my main goals: 
          
          -Hitting 500 followers
          -Dreamin’ hitting 150k reads
          -Story hitting 5k votes
          -Hitting #1 in the Han Lue ranking
          
          Now, I did have much smaller goals, like finishing posting a lot of fics, which I accomplished! But those were the main four I wanted to accomplish in 2025, and safe to say, all those things happened. The Han Lue ranking thing was hard, jeez, because the ranks are so stupid and make no sense. But it was Hold Me Tight that hit #1, and then Some Hearts a few months afterwards.  
          
          The main reason why I don’t talk about my goals is because they don’t need to be talked about. Most of these goals are just for fun, it’s not a serious thing, and I don’t want to manipulate the stats. I want my goals to happen naturally – even if some don’t come true in that year.  
          
          Yes, I already have my goals for 2026 written out, not too many, but enough to make me wanna check them off as they happen.
