Paradox-On Hiatus

Second Lockdown depression has got me back writing terrible fanfiction, instead of anything original

Did anyone else have that phase where their writing sounded unbearably pretentious, or is that just me

Wow, I don't think I've seen a social media profile with cobwebs on it before

So I haven't updated my story for nearly a year, which even I think is pushing it for Writer's Block. But I have, as they say, had a lot on my plate. From exams, to the original novel I'm currently working on, there's a lot of things that keep coming between me and Sword and Sorcery.
          However, I am still working on it. As I type, my old laptop is loading to recover the text document that the story is in. As summer approaches I will try to at least make some progress with it, maybe even upload a chapter. Anyone expecting regular updates clearly hasn't been keeping too close an eye on me over the past few months. But I hope I can give you guys something you'll enjoy, and like Verukt said "keep being awesome".

So I'm gonna be eighteen next year, but still get growing pains. God I hate being a teenager sometimes...

When your discontinued story makes it onto a reading list with a story in the same genre, but infinitely more popular, that is a sign that people like what you write. Shame I didn't mention it was discontinued, and it's going to be deleted from a lot of reading lists

Hiatus: a pause or break in continuity in a sequence or activity.
          Ladies and Gentlemen, I'm going to have to make this official. I will, effective immediately, be entering into a hiatus of an unspecified length until such time as I am able to resume writing with my normal "zeal". Full(ish) reasons for this decision are given in the latest chapter of "Sword and Sorcery". Thank you for your time, enjoy what you can of your life, and keep being awesome.

Finally finished my exams, so I'm going to try and update more but who am I really kidding?

A cry for help.
          I'm not very good at either art or design, so I'm putting this to you guys. Demigods at Hogwarts needs a cover, for obvious reasons. If you, or anyone you know, is particularly skilled at cover design please can you PM me or ask them to. I know it's technically part of my responsibility as the author, but I really need the help. Whoever does eventually create the cover will be credited twice, both in the story description and in the first chapter. I will also dedicate the next update after they design the cover to them and probably follow them if I don't already.
