If there's one thing I've realised through my time – and let's be honest – the little writing I've done on Wattpad, it's that writing is not an easy task. I came into this world of books and their authors thinking the opposite; that I could write a fantastic novel simply through my passion for storytelling.

Turns out it's no easy feat creating a story. And while passion certainly drives any hobby, writing is one such passtime that craves preparation. Like Aesop once said, if you fail to prepare, you should prepare to fail.

If there is one such factor of a good story that best applies to that fable, it's the plot. Hinged on the thrill of (a) engaging protagonists and antagonists; (b) their underlying motives; and (c) how it all ties into the gist of the story. It is one crucial element that I wrongfully ignored, in favour of descriptive writing. That kills a book before it even catches its first breath.

What does this all mean? Well, I've got to scrap what I've started, of course. As unfortunate as that sounds, it's for the best. I can combine all of my books into one, thought-out novel for myself and others to endulge in. I'm going to really try with this one, might even only publish it once it's complete this time.

In the three years that I've been on Wattpad, this is the most productive I've felt yet! :-)

          	Stay tuned,

One of the annoying things about writing – if you're lazy like me – is that as the years pass, and as you cease to complete your book, your writing is gradually improving.

This sounds good to most people. But it gives your book an inconsistency that feels totally unavoidable; rewriting everything only results in the same situation.

Please be aware that all of my books are works in progress. They are subject to change and what you see now us not a highly accurate representation of what you'll see when it's finished, I promise they will be improved upon. I've just been doing some editing on SOTFK and I'm not done yet, so stay tuned!

ParalyzedWithFear

Just done some writing on the 3rd chapter of SOTFK, all is going very well! I just cant wait to get to the point where I can finally start releasing new chapters instead of rewriting old ones. :-D Also, there will be huge changes to the plot! Some things that were once iconic to the book will be rid of entirely, hopefully for better ideas.
