Me, an intellectual?

Whenever I disconnect from writing this book, I realize it’s because I don’t like what I’m writing so…I’m going to stop trying to recreate the original. It definitely feels as though I’m writing an entirely new book with the same characters and the same theme. You’ll always have the original lol, but I am removed from it. My bad.
          
          I will be publishing the new one eventually…fingers crossed. I just don’t want anyone to be expecting the same scenes. I might steal a bit but…no.

I am so excited to be writing again! You have no idea what I have put myself through the last couple of years, and I can’t wait to tell you through my writing. Every character has just a bit of me in them, and so many scenarios are lived experiences (good and bad) or even things my friends have shared with me. I hope you love the new Burnouts, and I will start rolling it out to you as soon as possible. Thank you for waiting for me. I’m so sorry you had to, but my god, that identity crisis??? I was fighting for my life. I still am in a way lol, but all the best writers are.
          
          Let me know what you guys are hoping for with this remastered version, maybe it’ll bleed in. I am scared you’ll hate some of the changes, but you’ll always have the old book too 

Considering writing it in third person…thoughts?

Hello, everyone. I hear a lot of you are still waiting for me to finish the book. I want to, believe me. Now this is going to sound insane…but I think it’s only possible if I start over. I started burnouts as a 16 year old. I was able to grow with the book because I needed the escape and it was my main interest, 90s/music based and perfect for me. I’m not a teenager anymore, you guys. I don’t think many of you are either lol. I have more responsibilities now and I’ve outgrown the way the books start. I’ve outgrown the way I used to think and write. Anyway, I would age them up now, I’ve always thought about it when considering a screenplay, the backlash from them being teenagers would annoy the hell out of me. But now it’s necessary because I don’t relate enough to write it. I want them to be in university, and I already know how I’d keep the theme in order for that to be possible. However, a lot would change. I think I’ll start by rewriting the chapters and publishing them as a separate book. Burnouts (remastered), if you will.

I genuinely think about burnouts every other week and check to see if there's an update  this story is the ONLY reason I still have wattpad (have you ever thought about cross-posting on AO3?) and is genuinely one of the most gripping stories I've ever read PERIOD. if this was turned into an actual book series or tv show, it would sweep awards I promise. please know that your writing is spectacular and I encourage you to not give up on it! also because I just HAVE to know what happens to everyone!!! 

Pls… another part, I can’t have another one of my fav authors disappear with out finishing the story. :(

I need to reread my own book to try to get back into the headspace. I need to start reading again in general. I am genuinely becoming a whole new person and I hope she’s still a writer. What’s your favorite chapters? I really like “Where You Can Find Me,” so that’s where I’ll go first.

I owe you guys new chapters and I owe some others copies of my old books (message me again, I forgot who asked). Life’s been…different. 
          
          I found it hard to write without damaging my book, honestly. Writing romance while feeling like a kicked puppy wasn’t good or achievable for me lol. Things are looking up, at least in the heart-repair category. You will be hearing from me again.
