this chapter was very different styllistically, but we like how the transition of style coincides with Eliza's mental transitions as she struggles. Let us know what you think, and tell your friends if you think they're interested!

Thanks so much!! It was fun to write—super different and lush with that summer flashback (which we want to edit in order to embellish more looming-apocalypse hints) but thank you so so much! Also your comments give us life all the time!

We've been taking a few days to process everything that's going on--it's absolutely heartbreaking that people all across the world are being mistreated because of the color of their skin, or their sexual identities, or their religion, or their ethnicities. Instances like George Floyd or Breonna Taylor happen so often, and now it's getting attention. Let's finally stand up; let's say, "We value your skin color." Let's take time to reflect on any internal prejudices we may have, and focus on combatting those internal prejudices. Let's listen to the stories. Let's offer comfort to those who are treated differently because of their skin color, sexual orientation, religion, or ethnicity. Finally, let's stand up, NOT because "Black Lives Matter" is the #1 trending tag on social media, NOT because "everyone needs to know that I'm anti-racist so let me post this picture/quote about the movement."

Let's stand up even when the protests stop and nothing changes and everything goes quiet.

Let's stand up even when it's scary, even when we could very well get hurt.

Let's stand up even if we don't understand.

As four white girls, we will never understand or have the experience others of different skin color will have. But we WILL fight equal human rights. We WILL stand up. What happened to George Floyd was NOT an isolated event. After the video of Floyd surfaced, we knew racism existed, but we didn't know the deep extent or the prevelance at which it occured. What happened to Floyd opened our eyes.

To all of our black followers, we're fighting for you. We're here for you. And we want to hear from you. DM us, post it on our board, comment in one of our stories--tells us your story. Get it out there. We encourage you to speak up, because speaking out helps spread awareness.

We're HERE. We LOVE YOU. We're going to FIGHT for you.

READERS OF RADIATION CHILDREN! Sweet friends!! Our novel is NOT on hold even though that is the name of our newest chapter (it’s a name that is a part of the story, but it’s an in-between chapter so it doesn’t get a number ) we just wanted to clear up any confusion!

PassengersOfWind

Friends! We just wanted to check-in with our lovely followers during the COVID-19 emergency that has arisen in our world. Quarantining and social distancing has been recommended by the Center for Disease Control and governments all over the world, so we just want to encourage you to do that!

What is currently happening in our world - the Coronavirus, the fear of it, the quarantining and social distancing - can all breed sadness, anxiety, and pent-up energy. We want to encourage:

-Taking a walk (or a run) out in nature if it's approved by your country/state or residence

-Reading (maybe a book about an apocalypse? Maybe a book by yours truly?) Just kidding! But seriously, reading is a great way to keep quarantine-sadness at bay. Reread an old favorite childhood book or attack that epic fantasy saga that you've had on your TBR for so long.

-watch some fave movies! Mean Girls, The Land Before Time, Harry Potter, Marvel movies, High School Musical(s) are all some of our favorites. Also, for some family friendly shows, Alexa & Katie and H20: Just Add Water are very excellent to watch.

-Play games! If you are close with your family, then maybe designate a specific night to be game night and a specific night to be movie night.

-Bake something, maybe? Learn to cook? (Or wish you could cook and watch all the seasons of MasterChef on YouTube in excitement for S11?)

-Feel free to PM us! We're here to talk about anxieties and fears or just about silly things in general to take your mind off the craziness. We're open to talking!

Mostly, stay safe :). We wish the very best to all of you <3

          -Rachel, Alison, Clary, and Steph
