so like, i don't rlly use this app anymore but i still get notifications of ppl responding to comment from YEARS ago and it makes me cringe in the worst way possible
it shocks me whenever someone replies to my comments from like YEARS ago because im like "people still out here reading this, i remember when this story peaked."
and it got me thinking thst wattpad peaked in the years 2014, 2015, and 2016. Those were the best times to be on wattpad because everyone was so interactive and social
Since Look Up is about to come to an end (it was never suppose to be long, just a short and cute)
In the future, look forward to some spins off called "For No Reason" and "I Hate you"
"For No Reason" is a sort of prequel but can be read as a stand alone. Instead of it being Nathan's POV it will be the POV of Oscar (if you read the recent chapter of "Look Up" who'll know who that is *wink*) I'm really excited to publish "For No Reason" because it really explains why Nathan is weary of love.
"I Hate You" is a sequel to "Look Up" but can be read as a stand alone as well. This one focuses on Elliot and Axel who grow up and remain best friends but Axel their friendship isn't easy.
I'm so happy that Look Up is getting recognized?? When I first started it, it was more like a rough idea I had for some OCs I drew, just wanted to develop how they fell for each other, nothing serious.
But I even gave up on it because I thought it was a stupid idea but people genuinely like which makes me happy
There's only been a few books where the good boy and bad boy trope were done well, where the author added their own little twist.
I just need fresh different lgbtq+ books to read
And where are all my fxf bad girl and good girl tropes??? Hardly see any of those
There's nothing wrong with the bad boy falls in love with the good boy trope as long as it's executed well.
Wattpad is full of this trope and honestly it gets repetitive in a way??
And the plot is always the same.
The "good boy" is always nerdy, shy, and stutters constantly which interrupts the flow of the story. More often than not they'll have a super outgoing female friend.
The "bad boy" is this jock or outcast rebel who does drugs or smokes and beats people up. Most likely rides a motorcycle and has a right hand man who either supports him or turns against him when he likes the "good boy".
@PastelFroggo ikr??? Lately I've been finding myself reading books that all follow the same plotline and it feels like I'm reading the same book over and over again
Sorry updates have been taking so long!!
While I'm developing the ending to Look Up I'm also dipping into a prequel for Look Up as well as some spin offs.
