Greetings newcomer,
I am Proxy Poet and I welcome you to my profile.  I enjoy writing short stories, generally inclining towards the macabre, and have decided to publish my work here. 
I have been writing for a few years unprofessionally and have many stories to draft and publish, however, please do not expect a new story everyday, for I take my time in creating these. I prefer to write a story over the course of a week and make it decent, than to write one in a day and have it be low quality. 
That said, I have a certain standard of five thousand words per short story, so be prepared to read for a decent amount of time.
I also try not to integrate my personal life in my work, or anyone else's for that matter.  Writing and reading should be to escape one's life, in my opinion, not mirror it.  
My companion suggests that I list some of my interests here, so I will.
I enjoy writing, reading, drawing, and watching films and television series. Ancient and modern lore interest me, as well as the butterfly effect and circus acts. I have a deep fascination with witchcraft and paganism, though I myself practice neither. 
I believe that should be a sufficient greeting to help you get to know me.
