Dear Followers/Readers,
First of all, warm greetings to anyone who takes the time to read this. I’ve had a lot on my mind and heart lately, and I’ve finally reached some decisions. I'll keep it brief and direct.
As a fan of classic literature and philosophy, I have always strived to immerse myself in their depth and impact. However, I have struggled to maintain my values and discipline, especially being in an environment that feels misaligned with those principles. It pains me to admit, but platforms like Wattpad are deeply disappointing to me. We don’t celebrate the classics; we don’t honor culture. Instead, it feels like many people here achieve views by writing extreme and superficial stories and poems. It leaves me feeling disheartened, uninspired, and frankly, disgusted. Wattpad, for me, is embarrassing.
So, I am announcing my departure from this platform. Perhaps one day I’ll return with everything I’ve been writing in private, but I have no expectations for views or recognition. I’m realistic about where the future of literature and philosophy seems to be heading, and while I fear it may become overshadowed by more transient trends, I remain committed to my craft. I work in tech, and if someday, far in the future, some researcher or even an alien comes across my work and finds it of interest, I would be deeply gratified.
For now, I close this chapter. I am grateful to anyone who has ever appreciated my work. Thank you.
