Why can't I just read all day, everyday?

Either write something worth reading or do something worth writing.

Fiction gives us a second chance that life denies us.

I do not read for I have renounced life. I read because one life is just not enough for me.

I read books as one would breathe air to fill up and live.

I love reading because for a while I live in a different body, in a different place with different people.

Lose yourself in a book.

Reading is dreaming with open eyes.

Reading books is the most glorious pastime that humankind has yet devised.

Books help us understand who we are and how we are to behave. They show us what community and friendship mean. They show us how to live and die.
