Paul and Cheryl have been married for 36 years and have raised seven children. They have been missionaries for 34 years, having served 15 years with Wycliffe Bible Translators and are with Missionary Ventures international. They served 9 years in Guatemala, 9 years in Australia and five years in Argentina. At present they are in charge of Prayer and Recruitment at MVI in Orlando, FL.
Paul became a believer in 1972 with his mother, Mary, when they were sick in a motel in Socorro, New Mexico and they read the Bible and accepted Jesus. He lived with his mother until he was married in 1980 and during that time he helped his mother to write Did You Ever.
After Paul and Cheryl married in 1980, they soon became missionaries and five of their seven children were born overseas. Cheryl made a habit of praying the proverbs over her children daily and writing her prayers in her journal. Eventually, after many years, she decided to write her devotional so that she could pass on to others the many lessons she learned in praying for her children.
