Hi! Does anyone recognize this story? I actually forgot the title and it's author, I've been trying to find it for days but unfortunately I still haven't. The scenes I can remember in the story are:
-The female lead is a "rebellious princess" or rebellious heiress.
-She and male lead met at a masquerade ball where she pretended to be her sister/twin as per her parents demand. The male lead thought that she was her sister and got engaged with her. The sister either got pregnant or eloped with her lover and male lead was hurt, well, pretended to be hurt which was only discovered a few chapters later in his POV with him already knowing that he was engaged to the wrong twin/sister alot earlier. The parents then decided for her to marry him to save their reputation or relationship with the male lead's family. (So this events happened without female lead knowing that it was male lead whom she met at the ball.)

If someone is familiar or know this story please tell me the title of the story and author, I would really appreciate it. Thank you!

Hello. I'm Ashleigh Wilkes. My books were plagarised, I deleted my account and am back after a long break.

I was a reader long before I became a writer. I started writing my first book, Karma, because I was appalled at the deluge of weak women characters in the majority of books here, and the way in which these "heroines" were portrayed. They were "too kind", too quick to forgive, too easy to manipulate, too ready to put up with degradation, humiliation and abuse, so bewilderingly shallow that they were ready to overlook all the humiliating acts they had suffered at the hands of these despicable, cheating, male protagonists --- monsters beneath the guise of their "Greek-Godlike" looks and cocky smirks.

A woman, even a fictional character, is strong, brave and beautiful, and she deserves fidelity, loyalty and respect. These fictional spineless creatures were caricatures, and an affront to real women everywhere. I started writing feverishly because of my fury. I had to vent my frustration in words.

          Do check out my works.
