But my question is: do people really feel satisfied and accomplished with their work when they just ask for votes on their stories?
No one actually likes your story, your just asking them to vote on your stuff. You don't grow as a writer.
@PearLapis Actually WP were created for people who are hungry on reading pages. but when ( Cliché Stories ) were spread, All people even the ones hated reading got hooked up.. And the authors asking for votes, comments spilled to the ones reading them. so it became naturally and habit for them to do. But.. i agree on you, your words are all certain. I do get kinda uncomfortable when i see people pleading to get votes and comments.
There is a difference between opinion and hate speech. Get it right already. The next person to express their HATE on Caitlyn Jenner will get a punch straight in the nose.
It's hard to know Lapis's personality due to short screen time and the situation... but for some reason I headcanon that Lapis is like occasionally sarcastic and is not really bubbly as everyone makes her seem lmao.
IMPORTANT: Your writing ability will not change on how many votes you get, but constructive criticism and fixing your errors will.
Something to keep in mind before asking people to vote on your stories without them actually reading one.
