Still here and working on the chapter! Life got in the way haha…
          	Anyways, do you guys listen to audio books or anything? I do often, and have a favorite that I’m re-listening to- Touch Not the Cat by Mary Stewart!
          	Do you guys have favorite audio books?

@UnexplainedInjuries
            yeah the first two seasons of Witcher were so solid! Disappointing how it went downhill after that.

            Oof, tLoK… tbh I haven’t watched it fully, but I’ve seen clips here and there and know the general plot and I… don’t like it. Idk, it just doesn’t match the gravitas of the original show, imo. If ATLA is a moving folktale, an epic, then tlok (IMO) is like a marvel movie. Lmfao.

            And yeah grad school is tough but tbh my program is very manageable. I feel like my bachelors was tougher what with all the classes I had to take. Having said that, yes I definitely still feel the stress because I did a combined bachelors and masters- kinda like an accelerated masters program - so I’ve been in school all my fucking life for so many consecutive years. I’m ready to be DONE with this in May, whew.

            Anyway, good luck to all of us in our endeavors, forreal. (Hope you enjoy the animes!!)

@allinmoderation BET! Thanks for the recommends and where to find them!!

            I loved the first season of The Witcher!!! 10/10 no notes. Season 2… big big issues and all to do with the writing/plot and costumes rather than the actors performances. I thought Henry Cavill was a PERFECT Geralt… I think too big of shoes for anyone to fill tbh. I stopped watching after season 2 in mild protest of deviation from source material after season 1 (they did deviate in season 1 but in a logical way of transferring from book medium to a show that I thought was SUPERB)

            How did you feel about legend of Korra?

            Uck grad school is so much worse in terms of stress. Glad you’re smarter than me and doing it an adult way (sustainably) instead of all gas no breaks lol

@UnexplainedInjuries Oh for sure, I have ADHD and sustained mental focus on schoolwork is super difficult for me, so after I’m done with hw I HAVE to reward myself with my shows or else I’ll get depressed lol. Anything to finish this stupid masters lol.

            ooo Witcher! I I only watched the first two seasons of the Netflix show tbh. Have you watched it? How do you feel about Liam Hemsworth replacing Henry Cavill? And omg I ADORE ATLA!!! Aang is literally my most favorite character in the entire world!!

            As for anime, I only really started watching anime last year. But so far I’d recommend: Skip and Loafer if you want a nice slice of life (the main character, Mitsumi, is as sunshiney as Aang), the only shonen/action anime I’ve watched is Jujutsu Kaisen and I love it (even if it’s imperfect), watch The Apothecary Diaries if you like historical dramas with court politics and social commentary told through mysteries, and I’ve also been loving Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, which is more of a quiet, meditative, type of story. Those are all the reccs I have thus far! You can find all of them on Crunchyroll probably, and some of them are also on Netflix.
