@TerryP Yup:) I understand this story so well because I am a Christian. When I read Tamar's story  in the Bible, It made me so sad that they had raped her. I can't imagine how bad she must had felt. I love, that with your amazing writing skills you made a happy story. I do hope Tamar's life has got a lot better!

@PedanticBookWorm   Keren, I am so pleased that you liked my story Songs for Tamar.  I hope that Tamar found true happiness after she was raped.  The Bible says little after that except that Absalom got revenge on his half brother.
          
          One thing is clear. Absalom loved his sister so much that he gave her name to his own daughter.
          
          The Bible goes into so much detail about King David's reign.
          
          I didn't have to add too many fictional characters besides Jesse Ben Ezra.
          
          While most anybody can understand a good love story, this one is best understood by someone who is familiar with Christianity or Judaism.
