Sorry that I haven't updated you guys in a while, but I have good news! I've just finished planning out the main plot of the story, so I've begun writing the first rough draft of the rewrite!
I encountered many difficulties in trying to rework different flaws I had in my old story; turns out there were a billion different plot holes and story inconsistencies that forced me to change the story drastically. So, I can say with full confidence, this story will not be anything like you all have seen in the original version. (Sorry to those who were hoping for a faithful rewrite, but the old story is just too convoluted to work with...) Plus, the stress of going through my senior year is forcing me to spend more time on schoolwork than anything, but I'll find time to get this out as soon as possible.
So yeah! Look forward to more updates soon! I haven't forgotten about the rewrite!
