hi, i just saw your reply/comment kay ohmyviel (idk, basta finollow ako nito and then i saw ur username, and ur recommending stories na first and only na mga stories) and i honestly had to stop for a second because i’m so happy i found someone who loves stories with the first and only vibe just like me! i can read stories with exes or love triangles, and it’s fine, but there’s something about a story where the guy’s first and only—and it’s clear he’s all about that one girl—that just hits differently, you know?
it’s crazy because i feel like i’ve been searching for someone who truly gets this, and seeing your comment made me feel like i’m not the only one fangirling over this kind of story. hehe, it’s also my first time really using wattpad—I just started nung march 2025—and i’m still exploring everything here, but finding someone like you makes it so much more exciting! i’m so thankful for ur recommendations, i even ss it. thankusm!
i hope we can share thoughts and fangirl together over more stories like this (but, tbh, i don’t rlly have that many recos since i’m new here). seriously, it’s so rare to find someone who gets the “first and only” feels, and i just had to say hi.
also, i saw ur comment/message idk from sand of the past na ruhan has a bit of a playboy vibe and it makes me sad huhu kasi i thought hindi siya ganun and i ang kyut kasi u even messaged the author to make sure hehe. i’m so glad i found u!

@PriMik I agree :> her stories are most likely to have those microtrope though recently i think she has been writing experienced women na but never the v male lead ones. Though btw, recently she wrote this teenfic na v din yung ml so yay! it is kinda cute! but overall that is one of the reasons why I don't think I could read the rest of her stories again. No I am not a fan of Jonaxx hehe. Casual lang same with inksteady's novels!! I like the recent improvements in her writing style and before I've read her old works. I did like them and rn i am currently reading ate kat and river's story :> right?? iba talaga :> esp when you find ones with good writing stylee?! jackpot! nicee! i asked beforehand bc youu might want some reco from that genre and unfortunately I won't be able to shooow up! That is fine! no problem! just taglish watty novels? or you read ones in english tooo? YK i think some authors hate to see me coming or secretly hates my guts for asking questions about the specific details kasi some of them just don't care about it. I asked nga an author (respectfully) way back if she has novels with v ml, (when the dm feature is still up) instead of just telling me none, she proceeded on lecturing me how a man's virginity shouldn't really matter and stuff. Don't worry I am with u! i overthink small details too and is in fact am very keen on those matter talaga (na para bang isa itong universal circumstance lol) Yuuup Donchuu worry I am a woman :> glad to talk to you! ofc welcome to the club of "it has always been you" (done right: first and only ofc ofc) enjoyers :> don't worry as I have said wherever you are comfy with :> lmk if you want more recs with specific infos and if you have specific triggers, pet peeve and other stuff! (◍•ᴗ•◍)❤

@PriMik Bc honestly, personally it is not the kind of romance i'd want to read in my books. I had chosen to escape reality, wanting some unrealistic standards so why not test its limits and love this microtrope that is defo unrealistic in reality and is least likely to happen. I want the yearning, faithfulness even when the mains are in the separation arcs and stuff typa stuff.. Love like that must feel good! :3 also forgot to mention i hate half assed v Male leads in my books i really don't consider them kasi why is it easy for the authors to write a never been kissed virgin female main charas but cannot make a hundred percent v mmc din right? haha. to make you feel better, i dropped basically i believe hundreds of books already for not meeting my strict and ( high & mighty) preferences and that is completely normal. Nothing is wrong with you :> Oh giirl trust me on this, on this preference i am on the obsessive side of spectrum :> I am very specific and strict with my preference even in the first and only microtrope. It is not just dapat first and only, it should include the writing, scenes, and stuff yk. Like yes it is a novel with first and only but the male lead did something that is very icky and or said something on his inner monologues and dialogues that did not sit well with me and so I don't think I will want it in my reading archives lol. I am that kind of reader.

@PriMik -- Filo wattpad community has been well... let's say esp back then tend to always do the innocent v female lead x manho male lead pairing, and has been (still) doing it nowadays. Females are usually caged into this specific stereotype in novels. and I think a lot of readers are immune to this microtrope. well i am well aware that it is their freedom to write whatever they wanna write and that is also the same with readers to read whatever they love to read. I hate ppl lecturing others on what to and what to not read lol. Don't let ppl gaslight you into thinking that it is weird to like the first and only microtrope or it is bad to find stories like these and it is weird to rather find it toxic to express dissatisfaction and disagreement when the lead characters have been intimate with other people and the readers were acting up and saying things such as; "okay lang 'yon, hiwalay naman sila, they can do whatever they want. Okay nga 'yan malapit sa reality at nangyayari talaga" type of lines. Yung mga feeling nila dapat laging susundin yung moral compass and ganoon dapat kasi realistic and is the reality's standard at pagiging openminded and aware yung gano'n. Don't let ppl gaslight you into thinking you are closed-minded and immature for liking the microtrope :> Like the important stuff is that it is not clouding your judgement in reality and you are well aware that our reading preference works very well in fiction: stay there and furthermore, works differently in reality :>
