Okay, correction to my previous post:
Nuts are not a little insignificant seed in a shell. They grow to be a tree, a beautiful, blossoming tree that could end up in someone's yard, be part of a forest, or line the side of the road. Each of these trees are important. They could be climbed, then someone could fall out. They could be the tree used for a tree house, then it could break while someone's in it. They could be slammed into with a car.
So all trees are important. They give us oxygen, raising us until we die, because then they feast on our remains.
And of course, if you eat the nut before it can grow into a tree, there's always the chance someone's allergic to it.
Or you could choke on it.
