- Preview of the latest Levels uploaded for your pleasure, in the [revived] book "Collision Course" by Captain Jouska -
          
            “Are you still going to take on that challenge of Mr. Watt’s tonight?” asked Jumpman out of the midst of his thoughts.
            QBert smirked, face alit from the screen. “Didn’t think that it was an option to back out.”
          
          “Man, how does he do it?” a guy wondered aloud.
          
          “Good to see the ol' Andrew again.”
          
          And without a second thought, he leaped and dove through the floor, head first.
          
          In the midst of the purple cloud, electricity crackling through it and past him, he thought he could see Coily's face. Inside of him, he felt fierce determination rise up, pushing past the doubt. He was going to end this.
          
          “Now why would I want to do that?”
            “To live, duh.”
          
          He frowned and turned his head back in a double-take. The player looked a lot like―
          
          “What you’re describing, is independence. From your game. From the Code. From… what we were made to do.”
          
            “My emotions are not just code,” QBert told him with such confidence that his friend almost believed him―but he wanted to know why. He needed to.
          
          “Tell me how you really feel,” Jumpman joked humorlessly.
          
          ...he heard those two little words again.
            They were from that night. When everything changed for him. It was then that he realized, he never should have touched the game. No… he looked around, seeing faces he didn’t know applauding him.
          
          They never even should have come here.

17 year old female writer of books. My book "Respawn" is my current focus, so while I will not be taking down any of my other old un-edited stories, you will not be seeing any new chapters in them for a while. I appreciate feedback very much, I work very hard on my writing so that it turns out just right. Hope you enjoy my writing, and if not, let me know.

          2.  Does anyone have any tips in remaining consistent in posting chapters on Wattpad [so that people can expect you and respond when you do anything]?

I understand that, even resurfaced, I am inconsistent. I apologize. I've been busy, and I'll do my best to change that. I appreciate the patience you guys have granted me.
          
          That being said...
          
          I'm introducing level 16 for Bit-10 to you guys. It's great! It's intriguing! It's inspiring! You should read it! Hahaha...
          
          Also, would you like a chapter where you guys can ask any of the characters any questions? Taking in questions in comments/responses to this post. I've read Q/A chapters like those, they're pretty fun.

(*just realized I wrote a short story without it's main point in it*)
          
          I added to my "completed" short story Be Hattable in the second part--Be Hattable (prt 2). It ties the whole story together more fluidly, and, simply, I think it just makes more sense now. (Even to me, and I wrote the thing.) I was rereading my short story just today when the new part came to me. If you've already read the story, I suggest you reread it (it won't take long and you won't regret it).
          
          You'll want to be hattable too.

A SNEAK-PEEK into "Bit-10" (temporary title?)/previously "It's Simple. We Kill The Pac-Man":
          
          
          “Wow, man. Just, wow.” He gestured at the coin-op machine. “I’ve never seen someone fly through the first two levels like that. That was absurd....”
          
            ....Andrew tilted his head to the side. “What’s your name?”
            The other guy’s eyebrows raised. “Hm? Oh, uh, it’s Jesse....”
          
           ....He couldn’t believe this. This was the very last game he had wanted to run into....
          
          ....“Trouble?” QBert echoed with a funny look on his face....
          
          ....And without a second thought, he leaped and dove through the floor, head first....
          
          ….Not for the first time, he wondered if there was a life that he had before he woke up into this known reality of his….
          
          ….He struggled to get away from the snake’s grip. The place flickered violently around the two….
          
          ….Jumpman sighed, and clasped his hand onto QBert’s shoulder. “Yup. You are definitely one of my best friends.”
            QBert laughed. “And you are mine...."
          
            ....It was simple, really. Just play it. The game.

          In late December, 2018, I completed my first ever book. It's title is "Be Hattable". I've already posted part 1 of 3 parts, so look for it!
          
          1 NEW CHAPTER TO AN OLD BOOK
          
          I'm revisiting my book "Bit-10" (previously "It's Simple. We Kill The Pac-Man") here on Wattpad. I've written much more of it over on Google Docs, so content won't be an issue. I'll be posting Level 15 and more here on Wattpad for you guys. It'll be great! Be on the lookout for new levels! Feedback welcomed!
          
          1 CONTEST
          
          While on the subject of Bit-10, I'm not sure how many of you Watters have noticed, but on Level 14 - Strange Feelings, there's a bit of a dilemma I've run into. What I have there now, is that someone challenged one of the characters to beat the entire game of Q*bert in an hour and half. What someone else then exclaimed, was that being impossible. I then did research on the game Q*bert's average time of completion.
          The record, is FOUR DAYS LONG to complete the game!
          Ha, yeah. Hour and a half, my eye. I don't care if you're challenging QBert himself to beat his own game. This is completely unreasonable.
          
          SO, as author, I propose a contest: I ask you readers to help me find something that is FAR more reasonable. Example below:
          
          "“to beat [number of levels here] of Q*bert.” He straightened as he looked at him. “The rules be,” he continued, “that you have only an hour, and you can only use three quarters.” He held up three fingers. “Three lives, and you’re out.”
          “What!?” Sweatshirt gaped at Mr. Watterson. “The entire [number of levels]?"
          
          Prize: Whoever comes with the best answer, I have to read one of the chapters of one book of your choice, and leave a comment.

"You may want to buckle your seat belts."
            "Why?" Hubert asked blankly.
            After setting the vehicle in park, their friend put his right hand up on the roof of the car. "Because this ride is about to get a little bumpy."
            His right hand suddenly turned yellow, tiny glowing numbers shooting away from it like sparks...
          
          Hey. Guys.
          I'm BACK.
          
          I'm a teenager with an "old soul", who loves to write. (Both stories AND music, in fact.) I miss the crowd here at Wattpad. It's about time I came around.
          
          What you missed while I've been away:
          
            - A few birthdays (I have become old and wise in these teenage years...)
            - Family drama
            - I'm driving on my own
            - I have three cats (Hobbes, Scoutimus/Scout, & Spaz)
            - I've completed over 15 songs on my own
            - I completed my first book last December
            - I've kinda moved on from the whole cake-gun thing (haha...)
            - More chapters of my books that I've invested into Google Docs
            - I dyed my hair (not that you would know/care, I've never shown my face)
            - I'm older and funnier (and weirder too) than I was before
          
          What hasn't changed:
          
            - I'm still funny (you know, funny enough)
            - I love writing
            - I love feedback
            - I love pizza
            - I dance
            - I laugh
            - Still American
            - Still a girl
            - Still sane (though I have my moments--though, granted, doesn't everybody?)
            - Still a human
            - Still am the Pencil Pixie
          
          Miss me? (I missed you guys.) It's about TIME I came around! WHEW! (Watch out Wattpad, haha.)
