There is something to be said for a forum like Wattpad, where authors can get real-time interaction and feedback from their readers, and readers can get insight to the ideas and hints of the personalities of their favourite authors (e.g. if they directly respond).
Sadly, that also makes it notable when an author ceases, for whatever reason, to add to their works.
There are a number of authors here who appear to have ceased to add to their catalogues, whether for health, abuse, or other reasons. This is sad for us all. Abuse should never be tolerated, and where health is identified as the issue, I just want to wrap my arms around my favourite writers.
It is not an issue unique to Wattpad.
In another stories site, I have quite enjoyed reading the works of authors like Colin Kelly and Nigel Gordon (not the supernatural works I enjoy here). Sadly, a third author on that site (who communicated with, and proofread for both of them) has virtually confirmed they have both passed away. A loss to all their families, friends, and readers. Also a reminder to us all that (if the book you are reading isn't being updated) there might well be a sad reason for that.

Hmmm, Bound by Sacrifice by @JacobStoneWriter. Werewolves, vampires, witches, other supernatural beings, and humans in a society where mankind is under the thumb. Only those who have sacrificed for the supernatural have a chance for real advancement. Really interesting concept, rather different from a lot of other supernatural mxm tales and the main protagonist has enough drama and angst to hold the story. Not yet finished but PLENTY of chapters already. Definitely wanted to know what came next, and that kept me reading without a break for longer than I should have. Recommended if you want to read about the victimised getting some help, I a somewhat different milieu.

Recently found a new writer "JacobStoneWriter" and in particular his story "Deputy Omega at your Service". Outstanding. The main character is broken but fighting back. Perfect example of how any search algorithm depends on how many have read a story, rather than how good it is. This tale is seriously under-recognised. Mxm, Alpha v omega, abuse and recovery.

I have seen an incomplete story where a human mate of a werewolf had a dog (great dane). I am curious as to what others might see as the possible "relationship" of a domestic dog could be to a werewolf pack.
Some thoughts: a dog whose human became attached to a pack could start seeing itself as a part of the pack, and any pups as it's responsibility to protect. Pack members could see a dog as an interloper, and subject it to violence. A dog could get injured protecting a human mate. The dog could be a small breed with a Napoleon complex..... that'd go well in a pack environment (not!). A wild dog might adopt "lost" werewolf pups and be raising them.....either alone or with its' own pups.
Hmmm, has anyone seen any stories along those lines?

OK, Snowridges Secret..... unfinished, but I have NO idea how this story doesn't have MANY more votes. Currently still waiting for the "bad guys" to reveal themselves, but their rogue goons have already made an appearance

@Pendragon651 thanks. I needed some happy chapters before it's time to cry again. It's going to be a Rollercoaster and a long book. Then series.

Just found a story "Human Turned Werewolf"and added it to my library. Not finished, but a different concept. Not bad.
