Hello, greetings!
I'm a representative of New Reading (GN), New Reading is a platform where authors get encouraged and paid for their hard work. We see a lot of potential in your work and want to ask if you'd be interested in signing some of your stories with our platform. No pressure, if you're not interested you can simply tell me. And if you are, here are some details about the contract we offer.

We offer two kind of contracts.

Exclusive Contract: It pays better. Once you sign the contract and update up to 30k words, you get your signing bonus which is $100, and you start making 50% profit earned from your book. You can withdraw immediately you get up to $100
That's not all, this is more of our payment scheme.

          120k words = $100 Signing bonus
          $150 × 2 = Attendance bonus
          $250 Completion bonus
          Total: $ 650

          $150 × 2 = Attendance bonus
          $325 = Completion bonus
          Total = $725

          230k words = $100 signing bonus
          $150 × 4 = Attendance bonus
          $400 = Completion bonus
          Total = $1,100

          And more...

You get the Attendance bonus when you update up to 30k words in a space of 28 days, Signing bonus once your book gets contracted and Completion bonus once you complete your novel updation plus revenue which is 50% profit made from unlocking chapters of your novel and ads ran on the page.

N/B: Your book can't be updated on other platforms if you choose the Exclusive contract, but you're permitted to keep 3-4 chapters as sample on any other platform.

          Non-Exclusive Contract:
You can post your book on any other platform, as many as you like. We have no issue with you. You get 50% shares made from your book, and also get $50 when you update up to 80k words. which is now a paid story.

Good Afternoon, Everyone,

I hope this message finds you well. Unfortunately, this isn't just a casual greeting but something important I need to address. As we say in my country, "I want clear your head." This means I have a bone to pick, and I’m not going to edit or sugarcoat this message.

This is specifically for the readers who have taken it upon themselves to attack me after reading Donovan or the Dark Love series.

You’ve called me all sorts of names, labeled me a narcissist, or outright wicked. Some of you have crossed boundaries by entering my personal space to insult and condemn me because of a fictional story. Let me address this directly:

You pick up my book, read it from start to finish—clearly engaged enough not to stop—only to come back and hurl negativity my way. While I understand that not every story will resonate with everyone (and that's okay), I must remind you: I am not writing for everyone.

(If you no like am, I beg, waka pass. Ice cream no dey beg anybody to lick am.)

At the end of the day, it’s just a book. A dark romance novel written for entertainment. Some people enjoy stories with an element of danger—that doesn’t make them self-destructive. Loving horror movies doesn’t make someone a serial killer, right? My goal is to entertain and, yes, earn a living in the process.

Criticism is normal, but attacking my work and person is not acceptable. If my stories aren’t your cup of tea, there are countless other writers and genres to explore. Please, find what you love and stick with it. I include content warnings for a reason—heed them.

To those responsible for these messages, know this:
I read and delete your comments for two reasons:

          1. They add no value to me.

          2. They disrespect my hard work, and I won’t pretend otherwise.

I appreciate my readers, and I’m thankful for those who genuinely enjoy my work. Constructive feedback is always welcome, but let’s keep it respectful.

          Let’s share love, not hate.

          With Love,
          Pen Glowy

Confession:

I hit a major writer’s block at chapter 43 of Born for the Alpha. For two years, the book was stuck, and honestly, I didn’t know what to do about it.

Here’s a fact about me: When I start a book, I often don’t know how it will end. I only have an idea for the storyline, and once I think it’s strong enough, I dive right in. I build on the story as it evolves. I don’t always follow the mainstream writing rules, so if there’s something like “writing as you go,” that’s totally me.

After hitting a wall with Born for the Alpha, I abandoned it and started writing Donovan. Writing Donovan was smooth sailing, but I felt guilty every time I looked at my unfinished works. Still, I’m determined to finish them.

I’m not big on New Year’s resolutions, but this year, I’m making an exception. I’m committed to finishing all my pending books. Here’s my list (in no particular order, but Born for the Alpha is my priority):

          1. Born for the Alpha

          2. Wedded to a Stranger

          3. Dark Love - The Ultimate Shade (Book 3)

          4. Love Chain

          5. A complete rewrite of Lost In Underland (I have big plans for this one, and even the title may change. It’s going to be something truly magical—think Disney vibes, so help me God!)

          6. Strings of Jasper

I’m writing this because I just hit the 50th chapter of Born for the Alpha, and I can’t even begin to tell you how much this milestone means to me. There were times when I thought about completely abandoning the book, but now, I’m more excited than ever to finish it.

If you're celebrating something like me, maybe something important you've put off—whether due to procrastination or any other reason—please feel free to share. I’d love to congratulate you and celebrate together.

Wishing you all a Happy New Year!

          Sincerely,
          Pen Glowy
          ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
