Today I walked into Barnes & Noble and bought a book called "The Pointless Book" that was created by apparently a YouTuber I didn't know about. So when I went to check out the clerk started to talk to me,
"I love that guy, do you watch him on YouTube?"
"Nope" ,I replied, "But I will definitely check out his channel when I get wifi. Have you ever heard of Tyler Oakley?"
Of course I went with Tyler cause he's awesome and the book was made by another blogger I assumed.
"He's pretty cool" , the clerk replied while getting my change.
I agreed, "Yeah. Do you watch Dan and Phil?"
"I've seen them in a couple videos but I've only seen them in ones with other people in them."
They hand me my change and I smile, "Thanks, have a nice day!"
I begin to walk away with my book and change after they reply, "You too!"
And that my friends is the first time I've ever met a stranger in person with the same YouTube interests as me and I believe a lot of others out there too. So just remember wherever you are, you are never alone because the person ringing up your book could be just like you, or even just have the same interests as you. :)
