So, here's a wacky story, for any of you interested or wanting something to read while I work on my other works. I'm sorry for the delay guys. I've just been really busy lately with work. https://www.wattpad.com/story/95308140

Hello, @PennieWagner, do you care to participate in the Astronaut Awards?

MadameEdamam

Could I ask a favor of you? Maybe you could spread the word to your followers. I come on everyday hoping someone entered and sadly... nope!

@MadameEdamam Your welcome. Maybe if I ever feel like being adventurous or more confident, I might try entering in a future contest of yours.

@rinvar OH. MY. GOSH! Thank you so much! Your explanation was WONDERFUL! ^_^ No worries. And thank you for the analysis. I find it funny that I wasn't even thinking about what I was doing, and yet it all makes sense. I wanted to write something similar to many chicklit stories I read (in the aspect that it's premise is a bit over the top), but at the same time make everything more grounded and realistic than most stories I've read. And Seok's character was actually designed with someone I know very well in mind. Seok is, of course, a bit more dramatic in the level of his problems and "emotional handicap", but I felt he needed to be unique in the slew of handsome, dashing, or Bad-Boy dudes in the romance community.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Thanks for adding "The Marvels of Prairie Creek" to your reading list and for the follow! And for the vote on my story covers. :D

Silent readers. Yes. I didn't have too many of those until "Marvels" got featured. I was getting 200+ reads a day but only one or two people voting (if that.) Who are these people?! I finally changed my Introduction to practically beg them to at least vote or comment or something at least once so I could personally thank them for checking out my book. LOL And each of my chapters has a "Please vote" with an arrow pointing to the star, so there's really no excuse. Unless they hate my book. :D

Two free places to get photos:

However, I've paid for many of my photos. I mostly use https://depositphotos.com/ because I can sign up for the $9.99 monthly plan, which allows me to download 10 photos. I then cancel the subscription until next time I need more. :-)

I use Canva.com to make my covers, and you can also buy photos directly from them, many for just $1.

@PrairieCreek Lol, you're welcome. Saw your reply to my comment on Fay's book and decided to check you out. Marvels sounds right up my alley, so I'll be looking forward to reading it. I figured following is the least I can do for a fellow author who understands the pain of silent readers. And, anyway, that cover was really cool. Much better than anything I could do myself. Might I inquire as to where you get all the live-people images? Are they free or must you buy them somewhere?
