A quick update: I received a generic reply from Wattpad telling me that my book, 'may have been removed due to a policy violation,' but with no specific context around what the violation was. Rather than guessing which parts they found objectionable and removing them, given that the content in my book was generally quite transgressive throughout, I have decided not to re-upload, not wanting to risk an account ban. I am sorry for any disappointment, but also very grateful to all of you who took the time to read - whether you loved it or hated it! Rest assured that I will be back with another, possibly more 'restrained' book in the near future.
