Hi friends! No update last week, but two will be coming between now and Friday. I'm in the process of applying for my New Zealand visa and I've been up to my eyeballs in legal documents both personally and in work contexts.

          And if you need a pitch-- Glass Midnight is a fairy tale fantasy story featuring fairies, pirates, princes, mystery, curses, poison, and a generous pinch of romance. It's the first of a trilogy and the second book will be told from the POV of Clara's sister, Harriet (and maybe Clara's, too).

          Next chapter will be coming Friday or potentially earlier. I'm back stateside for a little bit until I move to New Zealand in late June, and have the potentially unrealistic goal to finish Glass Midnight before I leave. Let's see if I manage it!

          You can read it at the link above. Also, exciting things! As Wattpad is reintroducing/introducing a sub-genre like system, GM is now in the fairytale subgenre! I'm so excited for it to be there, as I remember when I wrote Glass Slippers how much I wish there was a way to dilineate it from a genre perspective. 
          
          On another note, I'm getting close to the parts that I'm working a lot harder on for GM, as so I will be switching to once a week updates for a bit while I iron things out. The book will likely come in at approimately 35-40 chapters, so I don't have a ton of time until the wattys deadline, but it's a work in progress.

          I visited the Palace of Versailles yesterday, so when I went back through this chapter to edit before posting, lets just say the gardens got a little bigger. Who knew hedges could be so tall?

          I'm hoping to enter this in the Wattys, so I'm aiming to push to finish it by June. There's a couple of wobbly chapters at the end of the book-- ones where I could either keep it where it's at or alternatively make a change, and I'm still deciding whether I keep the ending I've chosen or not. Anyone else entering the Wattys this year?
          
          On another note, graphics requesters--- updates and covers will be coming soon! My mother is in town so I've been busy playing tour guide.

Bonjour from Paris! I moved last week and got a little too swamped to post the two updates I meant to, so I just posted three! Chapters 13, 14, and 15 of Glass Midnight are up and Chapter 16 comes Friday!

          If you haven't already, highly recommend starting your adventure with Clara, because the story is heating up! Chapter 15 features an offer from a pirate and an espionage mission, while Chapter 14 features banter and a costume change! We're about a third of the way through the story.
