Who missed this HUGE plot twist in Saturday?

          Ethan's pale brows furrowed. "What about Misaki?" he demanded, his voice hardening.
          
          Mary jumped slightly from her son's harsh tone. "I-it's just- that-" she trailed off, unable to finish her sentence due to her stuttering.
          
          "Just what?" Ethan asked, in a gentler tone, though a hard line appeared between his brows.
          
          Mary took a deep breath. "Around eight years ago...your father and I- a-and y-your uncles...we...we were sent on a mission—we were given a job—by-by...well, we didn't really know...who..." the little woman trembled slightly though there was no wind.
          
          Ethan gently held her hand, his warmth overpowering her cold, as her outward body temperature dropped at an alarming rate.
          
          She paused slightly, before continuing, "You were only young so we only took your br-brothers...and-d there was the m-mansion...I-I was tasked to get the w-w-woman and ch-ch-child a-and y-your Father took c-care of the rest..." she had a far-off look in her eyes.
          
          "Sh-she was so...beautiful...h-her s-silver eyes...the m-metallic scent of blood...so...much blood...why was there so...much blood?" her voice raised slightly, but there was almost no sound, she was heaving, only taking in shallow breaths. It was like she was drowning.
          
          "I-I-I- c-can still hear her scream in my nightmares..." she whispered, her voice not more of a sound than the rustling of grass around them.
          
          Not even her dear son's warmth was enough for her, as she started shaking uncontrollably.
          
          "An-and th-that child...those golden eyes, they haunt me..." her whisper died, and it seemed like a part of her had also left—her eyes regained focus, and, as if in a trance, she pulled away from her son, and wandered away, following after her husband's shadow.
