As I’ve discussed before, I have an AU for Skyla in which she was a member of the original Order of the Stone, as Skyla the Glider. She was kidnapped by hunters who wanted her wings and took her to the Overworld. Then, the Order of the Stone found her, helped her recover from her injures, and accepted her as part of the team.
          
          In the Wither Arc, Skyla is one of the members of the classic Order you can optionally recruit. My original idea when I first created her in 2015 was that you’d go with Lukas to find her, but Lukas wanted to focus on fortifying the temple. Now, I’m thinking that you could choose to journey to the Aether by yourself. It would just be you and Reuben crafting a glowstone portal and then going through it. Then, you have to make your way to the Coleopto Kingdom and request to see Lady Skyla at the palace. After the Order disbanded, Skyla went back to resume her duties. The Witherstorm can’t get in the Aether, either, but it does catch up with you after you leave, so you have to hop into the Nether to take Skyla to the temple. It’s still Magnus or Ellegaard for the big armor choice in The Last Place You Look.  
          
          In the Portal Arc, Skyla’s decided to come visit Jesse and their friends in town; King Iridescent let her go hang out with her new friends. She winds up joining the gang on their adventures through the Portal Network. When they’re in Sky City, she has to remind them that they’re still in the Overworld, since Sky City’s world has a different portal than the Aether portals. 
          
          Skyla would not return for Season 2. It’s mentioned that she’s gone back to the Aether. However, she’s introduced Founding Day to the Coleopto Kingdom, so they celebrate, too. (Also, realistically, I don’t think Nathalie Emmanuel (Skyla’s voice claim) could come back for Season 2 because of the Fast movies and whatnot.)

If The Next Chapters were an actual game, I imagine that the Choose Your Appearance menu would be taken one step further by adding in customization. The player gets to customize our protagonist’s hairstyle, clothing, and accessories, which emphasizes the themes of finding your own creativity and doing things your way. As I said earlier, this character isn’t meant to be a successor to Jesse. 
          
          If our main character is a girl/is fem-presenting, her name is Ramona. But if he’s a boy/is masc-presenting, then his name is Ramone. They’re Black, since they’re influenced by some good friends and classmates of mine. And, the way I see it, their eye color options would range from black to brown. As you may have seen in my previous drawings, I prefer to draw Ramona. 
          
          Jayden’s gender depends on Ramone/a’s, too. If it’s Ramona, Jayden is a girl/fem as well. But if it’s Ramone, Jayden will be a boy/masc, too. Either way, they’re gonna be gay. 
          
          All this being said, you guys are welcome to draw Ramone/a however YOU perceive them. This AU is all about creativity, like I said! (Just keep everything I said in mind, please.)
