@AggelosIsAngel I prefer if we had an actual base of why they liked each other, they just don't have the chemistry other ships have. The only moments they showed attraction was physical and occasionally emotional but not really. I'm not saying this is the worst ship because I have seen way worse, I just do not understand why people ship something without text proof.

            telling someone to forget about their opinion for a second is not likely to happen, it’s something that has been drilled into their brains that they take pride in at some points, but also pjo is some people’s childhood, they grew up wanting percy and annabeth to date before they really even understood what that meant
            percabeth is fact, it’s canon, it’s something everyone who reads pjo knows about, and it’s what rick wrote, if he wanted perachel, we would have it, but it’s just fiction based on fiction based on green mythology, or as you said, fiction

            you mentioned a lot of stereotypes in your rant; skinny, long haired, blondes are the face of pretty and are the main characters(btw, i don’t know many books where that’s true, but go off), and that percabeth shippers are always being mean, and saying bad things about perachel shippers, and that it’s so bad it’s like racism. stereotypes make a reader less likely to take your side, agree with what you say, or change their opinion(s)

i’m not trying to be mean or rude, i’m just going to say it now, but
            how annabeth looks does not have anything to do with the ship, so what if she’s a skinny, long haired, blonde, aren’t they “stereotypically” dumb? because annabeth is definitely the opposite of that. annabeth is pretty, and...? that being your “main reason”...
            greek mythology is not “fiction” there are people that believe in the greek gods and goddesses and have holidays and celebrate them all over the world, and that statement is culturally insensitive and rude

            percy and annabeth would’ve ended up together even if rachel wasn’t the oracle. respectfully correct me if i’m wrong, but percy turned down immortality for annabeth BEFORE rachel became the oracle, and if it came to choosing between the two, he would chose annabeth
