I cannot believe that I forgot this anime considering it was my starter anime.
          
          Law of Ueki:
          This anime is basically following Ueki who got powers from a celestial being who could become god. Ueki gets the power to grow trees and he has to use it in a competition with other kids who were also gifted by celestial beings. If he wins one wish that he can make happen no matter what and his celestial being will become the new god. This story has some romance, action (but no bloodshed or horrible bloodshed), comedy, and is all one season with 51 episodes that are around 23 minutes long. 

And another more recent one:
          
          -Ranking of Kings
          This is such a great anime. It has a cute and soft look to it however there is more to it that meets the eye. With the main character looking like a toddler and is deaf and unable to eligibly talk you would think that the story would be boring. But it isn’t it’s about friendship, betrayal, death, possession, devils, an underworld, training, and more. It starts out having our main character seemingly a happy go lucky type of guy who is bullied because they know he can’t hear. You originally think that nothing can get him down only to see behind close doors how much he struggles and tries to make himself good enough to be king. There is also a stepmother who contrary to what she says at the beginning genuinely cares about the mc and his brother. It then transitions to to a whirlwind of adventure, betrayal, a push to the underworld, and training for a different type of strength. I am probably not doing this anime justice but give it a chance it has so much interesting plot points. Also I am pretty sure it isn’t finished yet but it has episodes in like 5 different languages on Crunchyroll and the last bit of episodes are in a season two column where it is all season one but subbed.

Another suggestion:
          
          - Young Black Jack (Maybe all Black Jack seasons)
          This is also a slightly older anime with being released in 2015. It is about a Frankenstein genius medical student who is learning around the time of WW1 and the Vietnam War. He sacrifices his chance of being a Docter by doing surgeries when he is not licensed in various situations. Such as bullet wounds in mid-battle, plastic surgery to safe his life and others, and prosthetics. He experiences first hand many troubles during this time period, such as the Vietnam war, severed limbs, the black market, drugs, revengeful murders, human experiments, corruption in medical field, PTSD, rebellion/revolutions, and probably more that I hadn't thought of. This anime has a lot of information and facts about this time period and medical things I don't understand, but it doesn't make it any worst of an anime. It's like when you watch sports without knowing the rules yet you still enjoy it.
          

Here are some great underrated anime suggestions with some poorly written vague descriptions (although I really hope that more fanfics about them start existing):
          
          -One Outs:
          It is an older anime about a crazy smart anime male protagonist who gambles his earnings in baseball. He is around as smart as Light from Death Note. This is a really good anime even without another season, although it really does deserve another one.
          
          -Horimiya
          This might just be a newer anime, but it is super wholesome although it is a mainly romantic story. It follows the main couple through there discovery of their relationship and talks about real topics such as isolation, self-doubt, a bit of a fetish, a hinted sex scene, enemies to friends, friend-zoning, and more
