I want to write something. I've been wanting to write something for months. I have a stacked google docs of just ideas and plot ideas, over 15 full pages. I have a notebook with maps, drawings, and even a whole language I've made up for this world. I have the prologue and the first 28 chapters planned out. However, I went from making outlines of chapters everyday to not being able to come up with any ideas for like 3 weeks. Any tips for coming up with ideas? I'm also just nervous about writing anything. I'm nervous about whether or not my writing will be good. I've never written anything before and I'm extremely nervous about it. I told myself I was going to start writing once reaching chapter 10 in my chapter outlines. I said the same for 20, and now 30. Any tips for getting myself to actually sit down and write? Also sorry for the announcement, I just needed a little help.

@Peripakymas Low-key, my best advice is to just start. Every book starts with a first chapter, and the fine details/planning is bound to change.

Furthermore, books have a weird way of "writing themselves" once you get started. A concrete plot is solid, but nothing sticks like glue. Things may change, ideas may alter, but the book will never find its wings until you lift it off the ground.

@Peripakymas This may sound stupid but just write. All of my fanfiction are first drafts, its just practice. I have lore and ideas written down for my original stories, but I find I'm most creative when I'm not using an outline. You can always rewrite stuff. It seems like you already have plenty of ideas and plot outlines. Just do it for yourself and not for others.

Support noises is crazy but lwk actually supporting for some odd reason. I'll talk to a few of my friends and my sister. They all could probably help with coming up with ideas. Then I'll actually start writing, no more 10 more chapter outlines. I'll get feedback from people and edit it to my liking and then I'll actually have something published. Lwk should've happened earlier but whatever.
