It's quite sad that everything in here was changed. Wattpad used to be a site we're every writer expressed themselves through writing, now everything became a business. Every book is for sale.
I know, it can help the writers but there are still a lot of writers / best of the best writers I knew / are still inspired to write without any pay for it.
A BIG RESPECT FOR THOSE WRITERS! SHARING YOUR WORKS WITHOUT ASKING FOR A PAY SHOWS HOW MUCH YOU WANT TO ASPIRE AND EXPRESS YOU INDIVIDUALITY.
And for those writers who received a payment. I'm Sorry I don't mean to offend you, you have your own reasons. It's just that I've been here since 2012 and I saw lot of changes.
@Perperlitaa just like facebook and messenger that used to be a free online platform, because of the high demand, it shifted some of its features na it would require data na. Same din dito. WP sees it as a good avenue to gain money since it has attracted lots of readers and writers-wannabe. Lots of irritating ads na din. Noon, wala pa.
