Lol guess who forget she has a book to write? 
          
          It’s been a rough few months and it ain’t letting up, I’ll get back to Northern Lights when I have the capacity to write again.

Perspective is one hell of a thing. For the past week I’ve been in close communication with 6 families from Gaza and learning their stories has changed me forever. We that have the privilege of living in a country where we’re safe get desensitised and numb to everything that’s happening. The things that once turned my stomach don’t do that anymore and it’s such a horrible feeling knowing i was getting used to witnessing atoricies through my screen knowing that the people experiencing them won’t and shouldn’t get used to this. This is not normal and we shouldn’t allow it to become normal. 
          
          There is a woman I’ve been talking to, her name is Wissam. She is a loving and dedicated mother to her 5 beautiful children, one of whom was born during this genocide committed by violent and bigoted illegal settlers. Her babies are beautiful and deserve a warm bed, a comforting home and food in their little bellies. Her husband was martyred and she has lost many other family and friends.

Hi guys!
          I’m sorry I didn’t announce anything sooner but due to university and other personal responsibilities I’ll be taking an extended break from this app. I don’t know if I’ll ever be back. I hope so. Probably not though. It’s been a wild ride and I’m so happy that my most recent book now was over 22,000 reads! That’s so crazy to me. Thank you so much for bearing with me during my rock band fanfic phase, the time where I was obsessed with Brooklyn Beckham for like 3 chapters and suddenly switched it to a band one, and my pathetic attempt at an Ethan Choi fic that I got too tired to write and kept losing all the paper I planned it all on! 
          
          This really does feel like the end of an era for me.
